We picked June 7th because it's 6/07 so it's easy to remember and not too hot. Plus lots of people get married in May so it was easier to find an available date

that's a cute idea! my fiance doesn't help much when it comes to planning anything it seems so it makes me just want to wait on doing the whole wedding thing lol @kreese88

I found the venue I wanted first. We "shopped around" in July of 2013, and they only had three dates available for the year 2014. And then we choose one of those three. Don't get your heart set on a date and then find out the venue isn't available that day, haha!

you should both agree on what time of year you want to get married, then try to avoid holidays during that time (people are usually already busy during holidays so adding a wedding isn't a good idea in my opinion)

we looked at a calendar and looked when birthdays and other anniversaries in the summer were, and picked a day.... turned out we had to move it from June to July because of when I ordered my dress lol ended up getting married on my paternal grandfather's birthday, almost 2 years after he passed away.....
