is it bad that I want my baby to have mine and his father last name? Know me and my SO are fussing over his name because he doesn't like his first name. When I been calling him Ishme-El through my whole pregnancy. He thinks just because he is a boy he has the right to name him which isn't fair.

Maybe make a long list of names you like and he can choose from that list?
your right @godsjoi but I've been telling him think of something and he didn't come up with anything. and @sharonpaige13 lol I wanna do that but I don't want him to dislike me because I did that or not like his son because his name isn't what he wants.
I think because the child is a piece of both of you, you both should agree on a name. I couldn't choose a name that my husband really didn't like, but that's just me lol.
Your the one that writes the name for his birth certificate lol my SO wanted our son to have a completely different name...he wanted David and I wrote down Grayson lol
You're carrying him, so you have the right to name him.
