Girl, it was torturous for me. I had my c-section at 7:30 PM and by 10 AM I cut myself OFF the morphine, strapped on a belly belt, and started walking because my baby boy was in the NICU which was the next floor up. My only goal was to be able to walk up there to see him, and I made it happen by 12 PM. I got no downtime from that point on. I wish I would have rested more, but the more I walked the easier things got.
