Lucky you . I'm here in Texas and my insurance doesn't cover ivf. They only pay for ultrasounds and blood work.
Oh yea 😔 I understand. If mines didn't cover I probably wouldn't be doing it either but I had to do so many iui cycles and not end up pregnant before they decided to cover. @vikki655
That's nice @vikki655 ! I'm praying I can do one cycle and be done. This stuff really adds up even though my insurance is really good but I know God will figure it out for me and I will trust whatever he puts on me.
Oh I'm sure it is @abeemah thank you for the information I really appreciate it. I am doing g this because my tubes were blocked once, my Dr. Corrected the situation I just still feel like I might need the extra help. He tells me that since I'm still young I do still have a good chance. When I was doing IUI that never worked for me I'm not sure what it was because I had matured follicles, lining was where it needed to be and I actually did ovulate so idk maybe insemination just wasn't the procedure for me. I'm praying first times a charm instead of 3rd time but whatever God has is store I will trust him through this journey.
I have. It's an emotional roller coaster I won't lie to you. You get your medications, you get excited, you start taking the shots and go for follicular monitoring every other day, blood test every other day. Then if things progress well you do a trigger shot and get your eggs harvested 36hrs after the trigger shot. (Egg Retrieval). You then go home for some days, you'll get a report of your embryos day after retrieval/fertilization. After some days depending on the embryo development you'll go back for the transfer. And then the dreaded 2WW. You are still really young. Goodluck.
I agree. They should definitely cover or have some kind of coverage.
