Anyone who has asthma on here what are the symptoms? I notice my 6 year old has been coughing so…

i have it ... when it bothers me i get a horrible cough and my chest gets really tight and sore from trying to breathe and u can hear my chest make a wheezing sound

i didnt get diagnosed untill i had a asthma attack and had to be rushed to the er

If you listen to his chest from the back you will here a weezing sound. But you should have evaluated by the doctor because if goes untreated and has an asthma attack if has asthma he could go into respiratory distress. My son went into respiratory distress and by time I got him to urgent care he was only at 70% oxygen. Kids can die from asthma. I don't mean to scare you but it is better safe than sorry.@meli2890,

Me I start coughing and my chest gets tight and I gasp for air. My youngest nephew and one of my niece also has asthma. I've literally had to run home holding them to give them breathing treatments because its some serious stuff. Their face will get blue if they have a very bad attack. Its scary and not something to mess around with when it involves kids.

so I took him last night immediately the doctor said when they looked at him does he have asthma I said thats why we are here i don't know.. His chest was so tight they said.. and they put him on a numblizer machine for 20 min... they didn't say if he had asthma. today I gotta take him to his regular doctor @madilynn16 if you didn't say all that yes it scared me but i probably wouldn't have took him in and just thought it was a cough and his breathing was cause of playing to much
