Hi ladies, gave birth to a beautiful girl last Thursday. She been doing really well, however from Tuesday morning she hasn't done a poo, she's been passing urine just fine and doing some really smelly farts. getting a bit worried about her now. any ideas as to what could be causing this?

my son went a week without pooing, the doctors said nothing was wrong as his belly was soft and he wasn't in pain, they gave him a tablet up his bum and then 20 mins later he pood:) xx
There's not as much waste per say sometimes with breast milk like there is bottles. So sometimes they don't go then bam. It's not true constipation most of the time. It may mean there isn't much waste left from the good stuff lol
The same happened with my son. He was only pooing once a week in the beginning, but he soon got into the swing of things. Call MW if you are concerned or bubba is upset

Breastfed babies have a tendency to not go every day and then BOOM 🙈

I would definitely speak to a midwife and ask for advice... Some people say give them cooled boiled water but I've also heard that it's very very bad to give babies water so it's difficult to know what to do! My daughter is 2 months and she often gets constipated xx
only breastfeeding her, she was doing more then one on day 2-3 @daisysmummy
They should poo at least once a day... Is she breast fed or formula fed??
