For moms that have used Karo syrup for constipation how long did it take for there poop to be back…

constipation is the worse :( my LO had it bad when she was about 3 months old and we were suggested the same thing not sure if formula fed or not but ended up we had to change her formula to enfamil gentlease cuz the Karo didnt seem to help any also we used gas relief drops and it seemed like she pooped like 10 mins after taking them. hope your LO feels better soon!

He is on formula and he's on gentle ease! And I have gripe water too but gonna see if Karo syrup works I hope it does! I helped him poop w little bit ago it looks like it's getting softer I hope so anyways @mommabear3113

We had to use that a few times when my son was a newborn .... I believe it worked rather quickly .... His poop was loose within a few hours !! We also used the thermomoTer for recatal stimulation and that seemed to help

His poop wasn't completely soft😭 hoping after I give him more of it today it will be @lisa0488

Hey my LO is going through this now, he's almost 3 weeks old. My doc told me to try Karo 1/4 of a teaspoon in his formula.. But I keep reading different things.. People putting it in water, etc.. @Lisa0488 how much did you use??

1/4 teaspoon mixed into his bottle ! (Formula fed ) your can also try a rectal thermomoTer leave it in long enough to get a reading ... Sometimes the stimulation helps !!! Good luck !! @dottieb
