I need some advice. I live about a 5 minute walk from the seaside. I'm due to have my baby shower next week and I'm not sure whether to change the venue from our messy unfurnished house to a quiet part of the beach?
With all this lovely weather we're having I'd love to do it, however I'm just worried about the food/drinks etc. There is a cafe close by but don't want to spend too much because me being me I've left everything for the baby last minute 😰😰.
The problem with having it at mine and robs is that it's messy. We've literally just moved in 👎🏻. My parents live in a 1 bed bungalow so that's far too small! My in laws live over an hour away!!
God I'm so stressed 😩 why do I always leave things to the last minute!

That's what I was thinking. It's just a case of knowing how much food to take without being too much if that makes sense?. I'd love to still have it at mine but I don't think it'll be ready in time! X

I like the idea of a picnic on a beach. If you live close could you keep extra food at yours?. If you need anymore then you can send somebody to go and get it?. I like the idea of a baby shower on a beach! English weather should hold up for you lol x

I agree with @skye_melissa about doing extra and leaving it at home and that way it's there if you need it and if not you've got dinner sorted for the next couple of days if stored properly

My sister had her baby shower just a few weeks ago, she rented a beach hut and we all had nibbles on the beach and it was lovely!! @sheree_ xx

I lived in Australia for a few years and everyone has party's and social gatherings on the beach! (Stereotypical, I know) all you need is a few of them disposable BBQ's and some sausages, burgers, etc. You could also have a shade sail for shelter and one of them fold up tables to put bread, baps, sauce, etc on. I think it sounds like a lovely idea and a bit different to your average baby shower 😊 xx

Thankyou ladies. I'll have to sort something out! I'll get in touch with my local council tomorrow and see if they have any beach huts for rent! If not then I'll keep the spare food at mine xx
