Is anyone breastfeeding with the mirena IUD? I'm getting it in a couple of weeks my dr said it won't effect breastfeeding but I wanted to see if anyone had any problems with it

I had it and it didn't do anything to my supply..However, I did develop a very large cyst which ruptured leading to a hemorrhage and emergency surgery.

I have a friend who has it and it doesn't affect her supply.  I wasn't willing to take the chance so I got paraguard instead.
