So, ladies, while I gave it my absolute best shot with exclusively breastfeeding, I unfortunately have to start supplementing with formula because my baby's growth has not been good. Even though he was a preemie, he's completely fallen off the growth curve as he's only gained 1 pound in the past 2 months. I'm sad, but I know this is the best thing for my baby. Also I'm going to start feeding him more solids and hopefully things will improve. I breastfeed all the time, and I know I make enough, it's just that he's not getting enough calories. Anything for my little man. At least I get to breastfeed while giving him formula as well.
