I feel VERY sad when a mommy says she is being induced or having a cesarean and people immediately…

Amen and then people proceed to try to tell her why it's wrong, why she should and tell horror stories to scare the poor mom who of course is already scared.

@laurenjanelle, it's AWFUL. It's like DANG you're a mommy too, support them, don't scare them worse!!! 😔 I was terrified about a cesarean and while the horror stories are true and real, it's not really something I needed at that time. Now I make it a point to try to encourage moms. I ended up delivering vaginally but they even tried to scare me from that. (My son was frank breech.) I never had a cesarean but I know how it feels to be scared & want some reassurance.

@tayek, hopefully all women listen to their doctor first. Everyone is different and what works or went wrong for one might be different for someone else. We should just be encouraging each other!!!

AMEN! I was induced for medical reason and still get hell about it!

@theinkedmommy & @ella1007 I was told that I NEEDED to be induced because my baby was frank breech. And a lady told me he might die if I didn't get a cesarean. I was in labor for weeks and everyone was in a hurry but me and Ajani lol I would do it all over again and I would have loved to hit 41 weeks. But then people told me he'd be stillborn. 😒

@tayek, I had to be because I have a blood condition where my body makes blood clots and they took me off blood thinner at 38 weeks but couldn't risk leaving me off longer than a week or so because if I had a blood clot pass through the placenta it could have killed the baby or me or both ☹️
