My son was born on 7-7-16 I had an epidural and a had some problems with it. My left side got completely numb, but I felt everything on my right side. I would hit the button, but never got numb on the right. My back has been sore since then. It's really stiff and my spine felt bruised. For the past few weeks I have been randomly getting shooting pains up my back that take my breath away. It hurts to bend over. It hurts when I lay down. I feel like I can't escape this pain. Idk what to do. Has anyone else had any problems like this? If so what did y'all do, or I'm I just stuck like this?

I had my baby Saturday. And I asked the nurse why I only felt numbed on one side while I felt contractions on the other. And she said the epidural works equally so you had to be switching from left to right every 15-30 min. I also have those back pains there horrible I can't even change my baby without a break in between because I can't stand back up after bending down lol

You're going to live with the epidural pain forever basically. You'll feel it when the weather changes from hot to cold 😭 if you lay on your back a lot this is my second epidural and everyone says my back is gonna be killing me for years 😭

Your body needs time to heal. My girls are already 3 months & it hurts when I'm up doing to much. Take it easy. Also talk to your dr & see if they can give you some patches or something to soothe the pain. This is my 3rd epidural & it's always been that way you just need time to heal. It sucks though I know 😖 hope you feel better soon!

I know. Some pain doesn't seem normal but it's all part of the process. Idk if you felt or are feeling like your whole spine gets in a knot or certain parts of your back? Also some crampy pain going down the legs that feels like s big punch because it takes your breath away? I'm feeling all of that. It hurts. 😥😥😥😥
