I pumped 12 oz today 6 oz from each breast

do you just pump every 2/3 hours and collect it in the same bottle till you get 12oz?

@evelyn581512, I pump every 2 hours each breast in different bottles some times the same but I get between 8-12 oz everytime I pump both breast when I don't feel like putting him on my breast. On a good day I could get 8 oz from one breast

@evelyn581512, I pump 7 oz at a time 3 out of one side and 4 out of the other and I pump in the same bottle... but of i need a small bottle I just pump both separate

wow how old is your baby? my son is a month old and I only get 3oz sometimes. 1 Oz from my left and 2oz from my right all together 3oz.. idk I have low supply.

@kasieerin, yea that's how I was at first as time goes by ur supply increases at least that's what happened to me

@kasieerin, I pump every 2-3 hours because my breast fill up every 2-3 hours I let it go till I got uncomfortable and my breast was like big hard rocks and I was leaking really bad to. I hate leaking it's so annoying

@anthonysmommie072816, ik!! I leak out of one side while pumping the other lol it gets on my leg and it's sticky when it dries not bad sticky but annoying.. so I'll be okay if I just pump when I get uncomfortable?

@kasieerin, it's really whatever u prefer. If ur okay with pumping when u get like that continue to do it. But engorgement sucks and it can clog ur ducts n that's painful af n can cause mastitis n u do not want that at all

@kasieerin, well u need to pump every 2 hours ma'am! Hot compress, hot shower, and massage the area so it can go away don't wait till u get uncomfortable it ain't worth that pain
