And also I really would like to not have any one in the room after the baby is born for a few hours while the lactation consultant comes and talks to me etc and so I can get a nap. I feel like it would be more special that way just me and Jae being together with our baby. I know its my choice ultimately just feel like since my brother has passed and my other brother is sick and my other brother has a bad mental illness I am forced into letting everyone be apart of everything because I will be the only one to have children, get married, etc etc more than likely anyway. Just sucks cause I'm always thinking about them first but just thinking about my wants is easier said then done.

They can wait a few hours while you bond. That baby isn't going anywhere and your family can have some patience and give you some space. I live far from my family, but my in laws live close. I told them that they can wait until we get home to meet baby. Don't feel selfish or guilty. This is you building your own family. A few hours is not to much to ask.
