It's sooo true! I was so hungry. They do it in case you get a csection. I ate chocolate chip cookies though lol, I ended up getting an emergency csection cause my baby's hb dropped but we are great thank God
yes eat before u go or sneak some snacks in lol but seriously everyone is different when i got induced i went in i was 0cm and they just went straight to pitocen and 3 hrs later contractions started and few hrs later i was 5 cm labor lasted from 5pm to 5:55am went great i got the epidural and slept threw most of it
Be prepared to be there for a few days lol. I started my induction Wednesday night at 9pm, and I didn't have her until Friday at 12:15pm. I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced.
eat before you go everything in sight lol but seriously all i had was part of a bbq sandwich, a coke, and a sprite on Thursday afternoon i didnt have her til Friday night and I didn't/couldn't eat again until Saturday afternoon. be patient and dont be afraid to tell them you're in pain (if you're getting meds)..i would've progressed alot sooner had i known that have movies or netflix to keep you occupied, and nap if you're comfortable enough to its worth it
Everyone is different. My induction went amazing. I got induced at 6:30 am and had my baby at 1:56pm. It took me 2 hours to push without an epidural but it was the best experience. Contractions are the worst part. When you dilate to a 10 it just feels like you have to poop lol.
