I asked my doctor about that too. She told me I wouldn't be getting another ultrasound unless there is a problem or my stomach starts measuring large. Other than that, my last one was at 19 weeks 😒

Yeah it differs from Doctor to doctor. Usually you only get 2-3 ultrasounds. I got one at every appointment. Just my doctors preference. Some don't like to a lot

most doctors won't give another unless it's medically necessary to. and also, a lot of insurance companies won't cover those ultrasounds if they aren't medically necessary

I only had one at 7 weeks and one at 20 weeks, so yeah my doctor was the same way

I haven't had one since I was 24 weeks. If it's not medically necessary they usually won't give you one. I would have only gotten 2 but my daughter was stubborn and we had to schedule a 3rd

^ same as @katwillbrand 6w6d and almost 20 wks. I am paying for a 3d sono 1 hour session for $150 and in kc area @amanda0916 my insurance only covers one sono, unless others are medically necessary. doesn't cover 3d/4d but the office I'm going to doesn't take insurance anyway.

usually dr. only give out 3 ultrasounds. more if somethings up. i. go to the ultrasound only places. you have to pay tho. im almost 4 mon ths & have gotten 1 every 3 weeks to ease my mind & for memories.

Same here, but I asked if he would refer me to the hospital I'm giving birth at (they do 3d/4d) so I can see my son one last time and he told me to remind him at my next appt. He agrees that it's not necessary but I begged lol.
