ladies my little mans belly button is bleeding, not loads of.blood and not all the time but theres been a couple of times where its been on his nappy, is this normal? his cord has already fallen off

Don't clean it..just leave it alone and dont bathe him..just give him a sponge bath or top and tail him :) It may be infected...is the blood brown or bright red just as @chesscalouise2 said...Call your HV/Midwife to come and have a look at it. Brown blood/gunk is normal :) xx

Does it smell at all? That's one sign of infection xx

Dylan has this and he was given medicine but he was allergic to penicillin so I had to go back and get him cream then 2 weeks ago it started again so I used medicated talc on it and it's cleared up nicely now, it's been clear for week and a half xx

the blood is brown, the midwife cut the cord clip off way too early supposed to be left on for 7 days i think but she cut it off a day after he was born and now its bleeding, yeah the blood looks like its coming from an old scab thats catching on his nappy by the looks so ive folded tge front of his nappy down to see how it goes xx
