It can be uncomfortable at first. You and baby are learning! But when you get it down pat and baby latches properly, it isn't painful.

Yeah if you do it correctly and ask questions while in hospital before going home it shouldn't hurt. I breastfed for almost 2 years and I plan on it again with my second. It also helps to find a lactation consultant outside of the hospital or a breastfeeding peer counselor.

You might be sore for the first week or two but if u have any problems lactation consultants in or out of the hospital are very helpful. The bond is amazing :)
