any one in OHIO have WIC? can you please give me the brand names you get with WIC I'm tired of feeling stupid going up to the register and having to put shit back because I didn't get the right brand that WIC covers they aren't very specific on brands. so what brand type do you guys get for bread, milk, eggs, peanut butter,juice

And yeah some stores don't specify what is WIC approved. I went to Kroger all the time when I first got on WIC because they're the only place that had labels on everything.
I buy life, kix, plain Cheerios for cereal. I get up to 36 oz. 1% milk 1/2 or 1 gallon. Jif peanut butter I can get 2 16 oz jars. 2 dozen large chicken eggs. 11$ worth of fruit and veggies. I usually get the dermont (spelling) fruit cups. 2 64oz of juice I buy motts. If formula feeding you get the blue label similac. But I EBF so I get a few more items than a formula feeder.
sorry not coco puff. But your peanut butter, bread, eggs and juice all depend on the size. your booklet should say exactly what cereals you can have, I assume 36 ounces a month?

It's not really the brand's that are a problem it's the sizes. I can pretty much get anything but if it is not the right size they won't accept it
Skippy or Jiff for penunt butter, 1% for milk, eggs can be small medium or large but must be chicken eggs, cereal I get Chex, Cherrios or Corn Flakes I am allowed 48 oz so I usually get four boxes that are 12oz each, juice I get Welch's brand but Im allowed only the 46oz and not the 64oz so I have to search for that size, bread I get Sara Lee brand. Hope that helps

pb can b jif or Skippy I know those 2 for sure eggs is large and only a dozen milk is 1% only cereal there's several but none of it is sugared cereal juice I know u can do juicy juice and some store brands and I believe also some of the v8 juices. if u have any other questions feel free to message and ask I'll help the best I can

I have a booklet they aren't specific on brands and no nothing says WIC approved on it I went shopping yesterday and the only thing WIC approved was a box of honey bunches of oats like not even a dann jar of peanut butter from jiff.
The bottles or things usually say on it. And the WIC office should have given you a booklet of everything you can get with the name brands I'd go and ask for one and carry it in your purse.
