He's just at that age it stops eventually my 2 year old almost 3 just got over it but my now 16 month old does it 😑 but good luck it will be over soon

He's also got sensory issues so anytime there's any sort of change (baby) it uproots everything he grips to as normal so it's constant tantrums because he feels so lost @desirae21

my 16 month old whines all day, over everything possible. its the worst, always sending me over the edge. so I ignore him, he stops and finds something else to do. I know he's not 2 years old, but I understand what you're going through.

@nichole_lynn, it's nerve wracking for sure. usually I'm a lot more patient too. I think with everything going on and just having a baby, I'm on a shorter fuse so that doesn't help at all. I want to help him adjust but I'm about to run into a wall hahaha

I understand my first has autism so he's really sensitive to everything he hated when I brought my second son what helped is I took him out on just us days in a calm environment I know that's hard sometimes with everything or if the baby was asleep id take time out to draw or read to him it was hard but after the first three months he took some interest in the baby now that's his best friend @showersoverflowers

that's when I say "mom has to potty and you can't come in" and then I sit in the bathroom, let out a good cry or scream and try again 😂😂 @showersoverflowers

@desirae21, right! its tough to find the balance. I have given him extra cuddles and loves. I make sure I read a few books to him a day and do a crafts. I feel like I never get to hold the new baby at all with all the fits. I'll definitely bring it up to his therapist tomorrow when she stops by to see if there's any suggestions she may have. Do you have any more ideas?
