maybe time to find a hobby you really enjoy :) cooking new things... lol idk the possibilities are endless! lol ad you can tell I've dreamed of being a stay at home mommy! but it would be hard to get used to not getting a check throughout the month of your own I Def get that!

try it, you can alwayss work from home

You're lucky that you get an allowance. Not that I don't want to be a SAHM but we are actually going to be saving money by me doing so then going back to work. Our bills are going to be pretty tight and my hubby is looking for a second job just so we will be able to afford rent.

I'm in the exact same position but I don't wanna be. so I remind myself how lucky I am to be able to stay home and do it early. im 13 weeks and my last day of work is in 2 weeks. ..just so I can be home when school starts for our other kids. so I've started a home business. it is a sort of crafting. ..I launched at my daughters cheer practice and is doing great! so my advice would be find a way to channel your energy and hopefully it gives u your own energy. good luck mama

I've done the same, @newlywedmama21 i left my job pretty early for alot of reasons. I planned on getting one thatd be easier on my body but we have talked about it and he'd rather I be a SAHM and go to school like I've wanted to once she is here. and once she's old enough for school I can go back to work with a career. as for how I feel about being a SAHM Im bored as of now cuz its just me obviously. @babytj0214 but I have a lot of hobbies. I love to read, draw, paint, do arts and craft things, puzzles, look up new recipes to try, and do alot of deep cleaning. you'll find things to do to entertain yourself and alot of these things you can do with kids too

It's really up to you. My husband always wanted me to stay at home with the kids. At first I wasn't sure but now after being at home with mine for 3 years, I know it was the right decision for our family. I have found little things for extra spending money (crafting, sewing, helping out with friends' children). I won't be at home forever. Once they are in school I fully expect to go back to work. I personally have had a hard time with it because I have always had a job since I was 15 years old. But I wouldn't have missed my LO first years for nothing. They are only little for such a short time. You have the rest of your life to work. So if you can and have the opportunity I would really think hard about it.

What about working part time?

I worked my whole life. I have a 9 yr old son and because of work I missed out on school plays, bake sales, pta meetings, Halloween parties school, his first thanksgiving etc. I've been a stay at home mom now for a year and although I miss making money, I love being here for everything. now I'm excited to be here for the new baby and watch her bond and grow with her brother. maybe give it a try and see how you feel? if you don't feel its for you then go back to work, but if you end up liking it you won't look back with regrets :)

and in a sense I find it saves more money. we don't have to pay for babysitting, I eat at home so no spending money for lunch at work, no more travel expenses for two etc. :)

I would hate to drag my toddler and my baby to the sitter when it Is freezing outside and snowing..... if not maybe a little bit after next year and save a lot of money for myself so I have something when I do stay at home :)
