did you buy a robe or hospital gown for your delivery? or just wear one that is provided?

Purchased one.

I bought pjs and a robe. Not wearing the hospitals gown the whole time.

Used the one I was provided and I also didn't wear any clothes I brought with me besides baggy ones for going home in. Was much more comfortable in the gowns

I brought a robe. Btw! Get a larger size. Just in case you end up with a c-section. I had a C and I was soooo swollen that my husband had to go grab a larger robe from target for me. Haha.

I delivered in a hospital gown. But while in recovery I wore one I got. And it was muchhhh more comfortable and easy to feed baby in.

I had my own robe already but honestly I just wore what they provided as far as a robe and after the first night I wore my own comfy pj's.

I went to Ross and TJ Maxx and got nightgowns with buttons because I'm going to breast feed. I did get one shirt that is a v neck but has enough give to get a boob out. I would have gotten pj sets or some tanks and yoga pants but I'm having a c section, so I'm leaving my lower half open for checks and healing.

@fruitloop13, I got a silk one from Walmart. Was like $9. It's super comfortable

I had a delivery gown. Was perfect and disposable. Clarify with the hospital what you can/can't wear. If you want an epidural you'll need access to your back as well as the monitor bands will need to go around you and they'll need access to move them.

Yeah you wear the hospital gown while you're actually delivering but then after you should have a night gown and a robe. It got mine at target. It's really light and soft and not too warm and not too cool. I still wear it. It was great for middle of the night feedings.

i bought 3 long sleepers for my recovery im having a csection so im leaving my bottom half open nothing to heavy and i also got really soft fabrics so baby will be comfy too and i bought these at Dd's. only about 4.99 each.
