Baby boys result came up high for Jaundice so he has to stay under for 8 hours then they'll check to see if it went lower or low enough for us to go home. If not he'll have to stay the full 24 hours.
We're keeping our fingers crossed to being able to take him home tonight.
His grandma is waiting to hold him & his uncle is waiting to meet him.
Our little love 💙
he's in good hands momma! be strong with him. I'm here if you need support :) keeping fingers crossed that you get to go home soon.
@jacey3, & @jamie_and_donovan We're staying at the hospital the whole time, cause they said 24 hours it would be. Started at 1:46. At 10:30 they checked his blood waiting for the results, but he's still under the light. Then at 6:40 they're going to tear him again. He's already looking better. He's a trooper. Not much of a fusser so he's been good, this last time putting him in was difficult, he can't stand the goggle things on his eyes. It's sad seeing him like this, but I know he's okay and just can't wait to take him home.
My daughter had jaundice after she came home from the hospital. It was a long first month having to put her under the light which she hated it and cried the whole time. An she got poked every two days or so.
ooh this happened to my baby boy had to do 2 treatments on him and have him take vitamin D drops a week later he was perfect :) he'll be fine and turn normal color sooner then you no it
with my first boy we had the same issue. he wasn't eating and turned jaundice. he stayed 4 days in the lights. it's tough to see your little one in a plastic case. keep visiting him and let him know he'll be better. it'll be done before you know it mama! prayers to you and your family 😊
@jacey3, Thank you so much. I really appreciate it :)
