When do new mothers receive their period after child birth? I'm almost 2 months post partum and bleeding. Not sure what's going on or if my body is regulating itself again

Right now, I pump my milk out because I had bad thrush. I want to try breastfeeding though. He's usually bottle fed breastmilk @mamesey

I had my baby July 5th got my period Friday.. worst Damn period ever.. If you breastfeed it takes longer to get your period then formula fed mama's

Everyone is different. Breastfeeding delays it and depending on what birth control you are on. With my first, I EBF and had an IUD placed. I didn't get my period for almost a year. With my baby now, I am again EBF and I got an IUD placed. She is 3 months and still no period. Just depends on your body
