I was thinking about that this morning. I'm 37weeks tomorrow and was wondering if that will have to be done for me. I know it takes longer to heal but I don't want to tear.

@lindsey89, it all depends. You may not need it! My daughter was head up until she was coming out. She turned face down at the very last second. She was also born 8 pounds 7 ounces. I could hardly get her head out, and my midwife was stretching the shit out of me. I guess I was able to get up to her nose out and she was stuck almost. So she snipped me... And it was instantly relief. I'm going on 4 days now, and I'm still very sore down there, but it's defiantly healing. And who would've thought your whole vag swells like crazy. It was scary lolll

@klove2016, wowzers!!! My mouth was open the whole time reading this. Stubborn little thing (big) girl she is...and your poor "girl". I'm not very big tall and skinny and haven't gained a lot of weight. We have been trying to gain weight and now I'm gestional diabetic lose lose situation and baby girl is not small nor big and she's been head down for awhile, I know at 18wks she was standing on her head and I think she's been head down the whole time.
