Hey ladied, ok so I have been taking the ovulation strips and every one has came back negative for this month and last month. So I made an appointment and went to see my OBGYN this morning to see if the could prescribe clomid. She told me that she would have to talk to the main doctor to refer me to a fertility specialist. She then asked if I was regular on my menstral(I told her yes),then she explained to me that as long as I am having my period I am ovulating. Can someone explain to me what is it that I need to do. And I thought an OBGYN was able prescribe clomid.

if they don't want to check for other things, make them lol force it or go to a different Dr. @mzdiva916

@mzdiva916, some of them just try to use the average woman as a template. They usually won't talk to you until you're at least a year or so into TTC. 😞

@kmechelles, that's what I was thinking. Some of these doctors don't want to even take the time to check.@babyleon, I know and I'm not stressing, I just know when something isn't right with my body.

They say that but it's not always true. Just because you have a period, doesn't mean your body produced an egg. You may have "ovulated" but that doesn't mean a mature egg was produced either.

Don't think or stress so much over getting pregnant, sometimes that stops your body from becoming pregnant... Eat healthy & stay active... Don't track everything & just let it happen on it's own... Good luck 😊@mzdiva916
