I washed her bedding, blankets and a few outfits, if you have a lot of new things I wouldn't wash everything because if baby grows fast you won't be able to take them back or exchange them

Just pack like your going to a friends house for the weekend :) just take a going home outfit for your baby if you want. And an extra duffle bag so you can pack all the stuff you'll be taking home from the hospital. It's not necessary but it's something we just do you know lol. They say the clothes has chemicals or something from when they were packaged so you wanna get that off before your baby wears it so they don't have an allergic reaction

@nelly1991, Yes I washed all her bedding, blankets and clothes. I had a ton of new clothes so I only took the tags off and washed about half of them incase I wanted to exchange the rest for a bigger size like someone else mentioned. Other than normal stuff you would pack to stay overnight somewhere - Chapsick!! A life saver. Chances are you will pack way more than you will need!
