if you don't know cycle length or when u ovulate then I would use them everyday for now once you get an idea you can pinpoint next time and use less

also temping won't tell you when you are about to ovulate, it will just tell you when you already have. and you will have many rises and drops so you would test all the time anyways. with temping it's not recommended to just try to read off one temp you have to look at the whole picture. here's mine

test at 11, 2, and 8 the darker they get. you really don't want to drink anything before you test. @jgood2220
