at work... "close" coworker asks me about my son then says oh he's almost 4 months he's about to get his second set of shots. i said i haven't gotten them yet. he's only gotten the Hep B shot at the hospital when he was born and everything with my insurance finally was settled when he was 2 months but then getting messed around with his pediatrician, longer story, so found a new pediatrician so he's scheduled this Monday for his shots. which is mainly why it's been put off so long. but he was LITERALLY raising his voice at me, cussing towards me saying the F word a whole lot and telling me pretty much i am a bad mother bc i neglected to keep him from getting sick, my son... and that it's also bad bc he can get other babies sick.. which made no sense since he was referring to kids whom were already vaccinated.. so how would that be possible?!? if they are already vaccinated... i said i am a FTM so it's scary with the stories being told or that you hear, and he said those people are over exaggerate mothers who make up shit in their head bc their too protective.. f them. etc... people are so judgmental.. like mind your damn business. i have his appointments for his shots on Monday. i am allowed to be scared, so what! i am human... it's only natural. freaking people.

we were moving and my son will be 4 months old on the 19th and at his appointment in September he'll be getting his two month shots. some people are just rude.

he definitely handled this the wrong way but he was right that not vaccinating can harm others in the sense of little ones that are too young to start getting their shots or for those who the vaccinations have not taken effect (their body hasn't built the immunity)... however even if he is passionate about the subject approaching you in this manner was wrong especially in the work place

@sparklymama, he isn't around any babies younger than him only adults who have all their vaccinations of course and a baby 2 months older than him with all their shots up to date

oh no I wasn't worried about that part just trying to put some clarity on what he said because it can be difficult to hear a point when someone is going about it in such a negative manner
