Has anyone tried Black and Blue Cohosh to induce labor?

blue and black cohosh can be extremely dangerous. Please if you consider using this only do so under the supervision of your doctor or midwife. I would not advise even taking it, but if so I definitely would not take it with dosage advice from untrained strangers.

@arivera64, omg I didn't know that... I seen some women talking about using black cohosh and I just kept scrolling.... ugh

It can cause very intense contractions that can cause heart decels and decrease oxygen. Just like when you hear some moms get pitocin and they end up with a cesarean because the babys heart rate kept dropping. Yeah.....it's the same type of thing @baby_lillis

@arivera64, holy crap!!! Soooo this is one of the reasons to let baby just come on its own lol

exactly @baby_lillis there are very few techniques to help bring on labor that aren't risky. Best bet is the old fashioned sex, yoga ball, walking, the occasional membrane sweep after 39 weeks and just letting mature take its course.

tried it.. dont work.. best thing to do is wait on baby to come on its own.. after 5 kids i learned that the hard way.

@forevablessedx6, are the pills and oil the same ? Like they both do the same or not ? Just curious

i believe its the same.. i had both.. its been a couple years since i had my daughter so i forget how i used it exactly.. but i def know it didnt work..
