Google is NOT your friend while you're pregnant. Itchy feet/skin is really common and is most likely nothing to worry about. Make sure to ask your doctor at your next appointment

@scoobygirl30, me! its called cholestasis of pregnancy it's a rash that has no physical symptoms meaning no visible bumps. The pressure of the baby pushing up against your organs so much in this case the liver causing bile acids to be produced in your blood stream causing severe itching. You can only find out if you have it through a blood test. I had itching all over my arms hands belly legs and feet. Please please let your doctor know! Not trying to scare you but it can cause a completely healthy baby to just die in the womb if you have it. I had to be induced at 38 weeks and was considered high risk because of it any longer my son might not have made it. Also if you did have it you would need medication for itching and medication to help your liver.

I would go to er to be safe to catch it early if you do have it. that's what I did I started itching at 6 months and I thought it was cause I was stretching so I put lotion on all the time eventually it got worse so around 33 34 weeks I thought I saw a rash so I went to er the nurse told me about it and she said she didn't see a rash so she wanted to draw blood my results were abnormal and I got diagnosed officially at 37 weeks my ob said you're high risk and we're inducing you this weekend at 38 weeks they would not let me go over 38 weeks and I had to do a nst a few days after my diagnosis to make sure he could handle another week in the womb I had him at 38w 2d it was scary. And I don't mean to scare you. No google is not your friend but I googled the good and bad so I knew what to expect.

See and I'm already high risk and have to have a ultrasound every week because my primary doctor had me listed as having high blood pressure so wed I almost had to have a nst because she was being really stubborn and wouldn't move at all but I think I won't rest tonight if I don't know now. Think it's best to be safe

@scoobygirl30, oh wow I might be high risk again too. my ob now wants to make sure I don't have high blood pressure or pre-eclampsia so I see her Thursday to find out. But yes its best to be safe.
