My son is almost 7 weeks and goes through about 1 can a formula in a week or so, is that normal? My mom is telling me to give him rice cereal in his milk? What should I do?

Very normal. My son used to go through a can in 3 days
Sometimes my little boy will take 2 bottles back to back, but he will only finish half of the 2nd bottle. So he can eat about 6oz @ariliyahzihmommy3
rice cereal at this age might cause discomfort and hard to suck thru their slow flo nips
My baby is 5 weeks...she takes 3-4oz...that's about a can let week n a half or so

totally normal babies eat a lot:) no need for rice cereal baby is getting all he needs through the formula

I just read this WIC pamphlet that said they should be 4-6oz until 6 mos...I think. When I go back in my house I'll take a picture. He might just be alittle hungry hungry hippo...lol. Did you ask his pedi?
