My baby girl is still measuring really small. She went up a tiny bit on the growth chart. But I go…

Yeah they think she will benefit better outside of the womb. They think my placenta is crappy or the fact that I have some blood clotting thing going on is what it causing the growth restriction. But they can't really test for it until she's born. And what don't you understand?

If you don't mind me asking how big was she at your last scan? They are worried about that for my baby girl too. I go in for another scan in a week and a half.

So she was 4 lbs at 35 weeks? Does your belly measures 4 weeks behind? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to figure out all this

At 35 weeks she was just about 4 pounds and this week she gained a little bit of weight. My belly only measures 30 weeks she's measuring around 32 weeks

You're welcome. They diagnosed her with intrauterine growth restriction because they don't know if it's the blood clots or my placenta causing it yet

that's so scary! My little girl isn't that far behind. I haven't been able to really eat anything my whole pregnancy and have lost a lot of weight. They have me on TPN now to try to get her the nutrients she needs. My belly is only measuring 2 weeks behind, so hopefully next week at the ultrasound she is right on track.

It is scary. What is TPN? And yes hopefully she does for your sake and hers I'll pray for you both

thank you, TPN stands for Total Parenteral Nutrition. It's basically liquid food (calories, fats, vitamins, carbs, protein ect.) that they goes straight into my veins through my PICC line.

It runs 24/7 so it's pretty annoying but it's keeping me alive and baby growing. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow, make sure to let me know how the growth scan goes.

I'm dilated to a 2 and they stirred things up a bit. They could feel my bag of water and the baby's head they said she's right there. And to take primrose oil capsules vaginally and orally

She's at 5 pounds now thank god.

Good! So are they going to let you go a couple more weeks and see if she'll come on her own? Or do they want to induce

They want to see if I can naturally go into labor this week since I'm 2 cm dilated and she's right there. If I can get to 3-4 cm or my contractions are 10-15 minutes apart they will keep me since I am 2 hours away from the hospital. My doctors and midwives are being very helpful. But if she doesn't come on her "own" by Friday they will set up an induction day for next week
