so when i was in l&d on wednesday the first nurse that was helping me asked what my birth plan was... i told her that i plan to do natural with no epidural. she did not like that answer and said she was just going to write down that im undecided since this is my first pregnancy. she even told me that the only reason she has no kids is because being a l&d nurse for 23 years scared her out of it. then she messed up my cervix swab and swabbed my urethra causing me the most excruciating pain and it still hurts when i pee. the other nursed were like.. i cannot believe that happened! was just my luck.. so i will not be wanting her in room when i go into labor.

How could she do that? I'm sorry but that doesn't sound right at all.. Something is really wrong with that nurse,

@squishy3, i have no idea but i knew something was wrong when it hurt so much bc the 1st swab of my cervix didnt hurt at all. they notified my doctor of her actions though.

how in the world do you mess that up wtf. I'm so glad the hospital I'm going to is very supportive of natural birth. girl you got this you can do it

@michelle2220, that's exactly what the other nurses said. i was bleeding clots of blood all that night from the damage.

I kinda feel like a law suite can be taken in place but not sure. at least have her fired that's unacceptable. I kinda feel like she did it on purpose

remember her name and write it down so when you go into labor you can request she never walks into your room
