I can't answer this because I genuinely just don't know. My husband wants to know WHY your water has to break to give birth to the baby. He said dogs and other mammals are born in their sacs so why can't humans also be born with the sac intact. Does anyone have an answer to this because I seriously never thought about it.

Lol. Um I wish I knew also but the only thing I could even think of when reading this was.... Dogs eat the sac after the baby is born (I'm glad we dont)

The water doesn't have to break for a baby to be born. It just so happens that with all of the pressure and force, the bag usually breaks

@ilovemykids24, some women do eat the placenta though!! 🙃 I will not be personally partaking in that. I over think too much for that.

It's rare but some women actually have their baby with the bag still in tact

Your water actually doesn't have to break. My older sister was born in the sac. It just makes the contractions more intense.

I will not be doing that either. I give props to woman that can stomach that tho bc gosh I would be over the toliet.
