That's not true my son is up one ultrasound and down the next I have had a total of 6 ultrasounds this pregnancy. I can tell if he is up or down by where I feel the kicks and the dr can tell by where they find the heartbeat.

But if you feel kicks low based on what I have experienced your baby could have flipped since your last appointment. It's very common for baby to flip flop and only guaranteed to stay down once babies head is engaged in the birth canal.
