Seems like a ridiculous question but has anyone's waters broke in bed or on some sort of fabric, like a sofa?
Just really curious as to wether it would smell over time.. I know it's odourless but you can't exactly shove a couch cushion or mattress in the washing machine...
Not meaning to cause any offence just genuinely curious!

My waters broke in bed but luckily only a trickle as I was lying down and it only wet my knickers not the bed, they did however gush over my carpet when I stood up but there's no smell/stain. Don't know if I'm just lucky though aha xx

mine popped on the sofa 🙈 the boyfriend cleaned up what he could. I was home a couple days later and couldn't even tell, no stain or smell x

I have no experience but this is something I've thought about too. From what I have been told you could try puppy training pads under the sheets on your bed or there are maternity ones (think boots sell them) x

Iv been so worried about this too with my first my waters didn't go midwife had to do it at the hospital but it's not like you can clean it up right away ether and don't no about you but I don't have anyone to do it for me as my husband will be driving me to the hospital so if they go it will have to wait until at meat after i have the baby so my mum/birthing partner can do it or until I come home and when my waters went in the hospital it was a lot like a real gush so not sure anything would help too much ether xx
