Uhm I'm on my second year of school for dental and that looks like an abscess or gingivitis. But my sisters gums did this when she needed her wisdom teeth out bc it got so swollen back there. Def go to the dentist. You can die from an infection in your mouth. It's rare but we learned in school if an abscess gets too bad and burst, you can die.
They'll give you antibiotics. I wouldn't be worried about it hurting considering what can happen if you leave it untreated. Pain is temporary. You'll be fine lol

yes normal in pregnancy my gums are bleeding n coming down bc the baby takes everything n I stopped taking my vitamins :(
