alright mommies, maybe someone can give me a little bit of advice

So..... I had an emergency appointment with my OB last week because I got the Depo birth control shot and he told me I will NOT get a period on it. total days bleeding now is 16 and counting. he said it's a reaction to the shot that between 10% and 20% of females get. alright that's fine..... BUT he prescribed me a medication that was safe to breastfeed in and will basically keep me in a constant contraction. alright that's fine too...... BUT my insurance refuses to cover it until his office sends a pre- authorization for why and how bad I need it. and then to call my OBs office and have them tell me that THEY REFUSE to fill one out. what???!!! how can you refuse to fill out paperwork to make sure one of your patients is in good condition. I was and still am floored. I don't know if there is anyone I can call to complain. I plan on switching to a gynecologist so I don't even have to deal with them.
