Did u purchase a sound machine? How did u like it? If I don't have one yet should I get one or they r are a waste of money? I hope my baby learns to sleep with everyday noise but our home is so peaceful and quiet daily bc I don't watch tv or anything and I like it that way but now I worry if door bell rings or dog barks is it going to wake him all the time.

I run the vacuum around my son, have the TV on while he naps, and I also run my blow dryer around him. There are free apps you can use for background noise, then just hook your phone to a small speaker. Works the same way and costs a lot less
