my OB had a hard time finding the heartbeat at first...once she did find it, it was 155 and strong. she had to push my stomach a certain way. was it just the position she was in? should I be worried?

my ob could never find my daughters heartbeat because she would always move from the doppler. she always had to use a handheld ultrasound machine to find her heartbeat until I was about 20 weeks along then she didn't have as much trouble.

I wouldn't be worried it is probably the position. I had several complications during pregnancy and a few times when I was being monitored late in my pregnancy they had a hard time finding it.

@maddiesmommy022916, okay. I didn't worry about it when I was there but I was like why is she having such a hard time when I'm just lying around at home..it just made me nervous.

@mrsgower, It's nothing to worry about. The OB would more than likely let you know if it was.
