I took my son to the ER last night because he seemed to be uncomfortable, he was unable to use the bathroom and had a ton of gas. When we got there he had a fever of 102.6 but because he had nuts gotten immunized I assumed that was the reason. After being there for a few hours they told me that he was dehydrated and they wanted him to go to a children's hospital. When we got there they treated him as if he had an infection because his fever hadn't gone down since we had first arrived at the ER 4 hours prior to getting transferred. They got a urine sample drew blood and did a spinal tap. After about 4 more hours past they told us that he was going to get admitted because he was breathing fast and the fever wouldn't break. I have gotten two calls today saying that he has a temperature of 104 and inflammation in his liver. He has been at the hospital over 4 hours and is going to stay in the hospital as long as 48hours. I can't get him back until Saturday morning best case scenario. And I can't even see him because my daughter isn't aloud in the area that he's in. And I have no one to watch her. This extremely hard because I am so helpless and alone. I just want him to get better 😔
