My grandma has dementia and it's getting bad but when this woman gets something into her head that's important to her, it STICKS until whatever that thing is happens. Well, my Nino, which is her oldest son, is supposed to come visit her today. He lives in Houston and hasn't seen my grandma in probably close to 5 years, hardly ever calls, basically pays no damn attention to her even though he KNOWS how bad she's doing and her time is probably coming to an end soon enough. Long story short, as shitty as he treats her, she's been so so excited all week for him to come. He told her he was going to be here at 8:30am. It's not 10:30 and we haven't heard ANYTHING from him. He's probably with his nasty ass trophy wife and her family and it drives me nuts that he doesn't even have the damn decency to call her or even answer his phone to let her know something. If this man doesn't show up, I'm going to give him some serious hell. Nobody messes with my nana and gets away with it. 😠
