Nahhhh everything that I've read said that it's perfectly safe and the only issue is that it can make you nauseous. That's all I've read!!

No harm to baby...Just the fumes can make u nauseous and sick

coming from a licensed nail tech....its safe. the lack of cleanliness from SOME salons is what's not safe. so go to a reputable salon...have the pedi chair cleaned in front of you beforehand, ask for ID and license. and definitely ask for a NEW file and buffer. if your tools aren't brought over in a sterile pack...do not proceed! ! if they give u attitude about asking for ID and license, DO NoT proceed. trust me.
