My 5 week old daughter is driving me nuts she only stays asleep for a few mins once I put her down. I've noticed if she's on her tummy she's a happy camper, but I'm so scared of SIDS. Any advice? She can lift her head up
@lauren5786, @desssss make sure you've got something soft around u in case you fall asleep and they roll off. That happened to me with my son when he was about 2 weeks old, he rolled off the bed! I felt horrible. :'( I slept like that with all 3 kids and never had anything like that happen before but that scared me so much I never fell asleep with him on me again. He was fine though.
When I take naps my daughter lays on my chest , so if you don't mind doing that , that'd be an idea. but if she can lift her head I wouldn't worry mama . Lots of babies sleep on their tummy from day one . Maybe put her down for a nap on her tummy an just watch how she does an see how you feel about it .
if she likes being on her tummy and can lift her its good it shouldn't be no problem..... And yes but daughter slept on my chest also and she slept good
Would you feel better if you slept with her like that on your chest? That's the only way my daughter would sleep when she was born now she sleeps on her side or her tummy
