Kinda nervous to be checked for dilation, does it hurt? What will my ob use? Should I shave? Lol so…

it did hurt a bit when my doctor checked me but she said something about sweeping my membranes so that may have been why it hurt when she checked me.

its super uncomfortable lol I hated it. But they normally put gel on their fingers with gloves to check.

It was uncomfortable, but not painful, for me. He/she uses their fingers to feel if you're cervix has opened.

my husband was with me. When your in labor they will check it up until your pushing so if he's gonna be in there he should get used to it lol

My husband went, it's all normal medical stuff. By the time you're done having the baby, it probably won't phase him any more. Lol

Mine was too! He told my husband everything that he would do! but what @ashalay88 said after the first time he won't care anymore lol

it hurt really bad for me, but I hadn't had sex my whole pregnancy so idk if it's cause of that or cause im a big baby lol.. they had to keep inserting pills too so I could dilate & that hurt just as bad too.
