Omg lol I hated that. I told people my babies name and they said "I don't like it, how about this name?" and I said well good thing he's not your child lol.
girl i can already see myself getting into it with my husband aunt, she is a very opinionated person, and is pregnant as well. she will straight criticise my child's name if she doesn't like it. i have argued with her before about my oldest son's name, like ITS NOT YOUR KID STFU! @sarinunez
Try not to let it get to you... As moms we are in for a lot of rude comments from people who feel they have a right to implement their parental views and opinions. I just ignore it now... @mv92
Went to your page and saw you already have kids lol, so I'm sure you've heard it all already. I just tell myself that I can't control what people do/say, only how I react to it. I don't like letting people who don't matter, even people who do matter rent space in my head. @mv92
@sarinunez, im the type that can't shut up -_- and less when its about my kids. i need to learn to ignore it but its hard especially the way she says stuff or makes fun of stuff. i can't stand it . shes hella older then me and acts hella younger
Ive dealt with it a lot and I cut off a lot of people, even my own mom... she means well but her mouth has no filter. Eventually I got used to it, she forces her opinion and I politely tell her I don't want to hear it. I love her to death and I don't agree with what she says sometimes but I want her in my life and vice versa. Once I learned to accept my mom, every one else became easier. It doesn't happen over night, just take a little time and noticing your behavior and response when people say/do dumb shit.
