Okay two things one, my cat scratched me, and I heard that you are suppose to stay away from cats while pregnant, is this true? Will me, and my unborn baby be okay?!
Second, my two year old son, just dumped my cats liter box on the floor, I stepped in some liter, ran to the bedroom to put on slippers, and very carefully, swept the liter into the liter box and put the rest that I couldn't outside l. I was the only one home so, nobody else could do it.
I'm not sure if some went up my nose or what, but should I be okay? I heard things about cat liter, and how pregnant woman should avoid it.
I'm 6 weeks, and 4 days pregnant.

You'll be okay. You're supposed to stay away from cat litter cause it can contain a parasite that could be harmful to you and baby

Ummmm I'd ask your doc but it should be okay? Prolonged exposure would be no good.

You'll be fine. Just make sure you wash any part of you that came in contact with the litter. Cats are fine too. That scratch might hurt, but it won't affect you or the baby.

You'll be okay. The parasite is called taxoplasmosis. If you have owned cats for a long time 9 times out of 10 you have already been exposed to it. Just avoid the litter box. If you do clean it use rubber gloves.

You'll be fine. Just go wash yourself quickly. I've been scratched numerous times, shallow and deep, and no issues. If you're really concerned, talk to your OB at your next appointment. They can do bloodwork to test for toxoplasmosis.
