So I'm 28 weeks and I got my job back at Waffle House, so nothing too stressful or hard. I got the job to help my fiancé get the things we need for our son before he gets here. With him being the only one working, we just moved into a new house about 2 months ago, so it's been stressful for him to pay bills & get ready for our son. Anyways, I was just told by a woman that I am a very shitty mom because I'm working instead of worrying about my sons health & that I could miscarry?! Just wanted others opinions on this non sense...

It's perfectly fine to work while pregnant. There are a lot of moms that work until they're due. Working does not make you a bad mother. At least your providing the things your child would need when it enters the world. I would have to told that lady to shove her comment up her ass.

Lots of pregnant woman work during pregnancy. I worked before my pregnancy and through my entire pregnancy with my first who will be two next month. I just stopped working this past May and I'm due next month as well. I just had a job interview last week and I'm waiting to hear if I got it. That woman is crazy there is nothing wrong with working while pregnant to support you and your son and trying to help hubby with bills. Ignore her. As long as your doctor says you can work go for it!!

@nygirl3rdbabymiami, @babynessa I thought it was a bunch of bullshit. A lot of woman take advantage of a man providing everything for them. Even though my fiancé & I don't plan on ever splitting, I still wanted to have a job just in case something were to happen. If me wanting to provide for my child makes me a shitty mom, then so be it. We are all shitty parents! Lol

@skyy12221, I didn't see the big deal. I mean, all I'm doing is serving people food & washing dishes. It's not like I'm working on heavy machinery or trying to lift 100 lbs all day or something.

@tylersmommy1102, don't even listen to them! They don't know what's best for you! I worked in an electrical warehouse pulling wire and material until I was 36 weeks and never had an issue! We aren't pitiful! We got this!
