I make it with one tablespoon of the oatmeal cereal and 4-5 tbsp of water or formula. Then I spoon feed it to her. My pedi said to do it by spoon instead of in the bottle to get her familiar with using a spoon.
I did start him on cereal a week ago but his poops were really hard & hurting him so I stopped. I think we may try again when he's not so brand new to his formula. mm omagainjj82 how do you make it for your daughter? I was putting it into my sons breastmilk.
My daughter just turned 4 months and she's also eating 6oz every 2-3 hours. We just started oatmeal cereal last night. My pedi said once a day is good.
@braydensmommy428, thank you! I think he is teething because he is crying 24/7 so I didn't want to feed him too much & give him a stomach ache on top of it!
@alannafairburn, I don't know the normal amounts 4 month olds r supposed to eat but my son just tuned 3 months on July 28th and he eats about the same as ur baby, if not more sometimes. They also tend to eat more when they r going through a growth spurt.
